Gilbert offers a wide variety of activities and programs for residents
with Special Needs. Activities include dances, bowling, karaoke, cheerleading,
movies and more. All of our programs and activities are designed to be
fun, with an emphasis on meeting people and establishing new friendships.
Special Olympics Arizona - Learm about Special Olympics by visiting their website. For individuals participating in our Winter Cheerleading and Fall Bowling programs, please download the Special Olympics Athletic Medical Release Form. For individuals wanting to join the Winter Cheerleading or Unified Flag Football, please download the Unified Sports Partner Release Form.

Ways you can get involved:
- Bowling - Interact with and encourage bowlers, help develop friendships and record scores.
- Special Olympics Unified Cheerleading - Assist in coaching and/or participate in routines and help strengthen self-esteem.
- Recreation Classes - Assist recreation instructors with their classes.
- Friday Night Events - Socialize with the participants, assist with various responsibilities associated with carrying out the event
