Homeowner and Property Owner Association Leaders

Gilbert's Planning Services Manager Kyle Mieras, AICP, has an important message for you regarding previously approved development plans, as well as any future improvements. Its purpose is to remind you to submit any planned alterations to landscaping to the Town of Gilbert Development Services Offices before implementing the new plans. Without prior approval, the Town may require that altered common property be replanted per the original plans to ensure the quality, safety and intent of your residential or commercial property. Associations may update, redesign or solve problems with landscaping by simply going through established processes that are in place and if necessary, securing the proper permits. The Town is happy to help you achieve your goals. For questions regarding the attached letter, call the Gilbert Planning Division at 480-503-6700.
