Students Sought for Gilbert Youth Town Hall

Youth Town Hall is scheduled for December 8, 2011 and is an important event that helps Gilbert gauge the interest and needs of our youth population, as it promotes good citizenship among future leaders in our community. Students interested in learning about their local government, and being involved in local issues, can email Jennifer.Hood@gilbertaz.gov., or visit the counseling office at all of the high schools.

Youth Town Hall is the event where the students choose between 3 subjects that Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee has determined are important to Teens and need to be discussed. The students come together for one day and discuss the issue and determine if something needs to be changed or improved.

Contact public information at (480) 503-6766 to interview a Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee student who has taken place in a prior Town Hall event.
