Code of Gilbert (Municipal Code)

The Code of Gilbert is Gilbert's Municipal Code. The Code contains local laws, adopted by Council by Ordinance and is updated, or codified, quarterly. Ordinances which have been adopted and not yet codified are posted on the web with the Code. Questions on the Code can be referred to the Clerk's Office.

• • Traffic laws are set forth in the Code of Gilbert, Chapter 62 and the Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 28.
• • Gilbert does not have a charter. Gilbert is a general law city/town and is governed by the Arizona Revised Statutes.
• • The Code of Gilbert does not contain land use or land use laws and regulations. For land use related items refer to the Land Development Code and General Plan.

Contracts

Contracts are maintained on file in the Clerk's Office. Contracts are considered public records, unless protected by law, and may be obtained by submitting a public records request. Companies may sign-up for the vendors list on-line.

Vendor List Instructions

All Vendors and Suppliers:
• The Town of Gilbert uses the State of Arizona’s statewide ProcureAZ system for Supplier registration. Suppliers wishing to receive notification of future Gilbert procurement opportunities must register with ProcureAZ. 
• Registration is simple and easy.
  • • To register as a Gilbert supplier, visit the ProcureAZ website.
  • • Once at the site, simply click on the “Register” link. Registration should only take a few minutes. There is no cost to register.
• If you have already registered with ProcureAZ as a State of Arizona supplier, there is no need to take any further action UNLESS you wish to add products or services to your State of Arizona registration that are unique to Gilbert.

Request for Qualifications - Request for Proposals - Open Bid Requests

Many contracts are formally bid and can be accessed on the Request for Qualifications (RFQ's), Request for Proposals (RFP's) and/or Open Bid Requests website.

Gilbert maintains a separate Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) vendor list. This list is used when Request for Qualifications (RFQ's), Request for Proposals (RFP's) and/or Request for Bids are issued for CIP projects.
