KA-POW! Superhero Adventure Run
April 27, 2013/ Freestone Park, 1045 E Juniper Ave.

Get ready to tie on your capes and be a Superhero at The KA-POW! Superhero Adventure Run on Saturday, April 27th presented by Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. This is a costumed run fit for the whole family with fun and challenging obstacles. Runners are encouraged to wear their favorite superheroes costume as they participate in either the .5 Mile "Spiderman" Run with 5 obstacles, 1 Mile "Wolverine" Run with 8-10 obstacles or the 2 Mile "Superman" Run 14-16 obstacles. On race day runners may choose to run any of the distances, no need to stop if you're having fun!

Superheroes are those that bring hope to others. By participating in this race you have a chance to be a superhero to those children in your life by showing them love and giving them hope. We dare you to move, to get involved, to make an impact, and to help change this world for the better.

The first wave starts at 8:00am and continue every 5minutes. The Adventure run course includes challenging obstacles such as the Spiderman Tower, Thor Tires, Hulk Hurdles, Wolverine Wash, Aqua-man's waterslide and more.

After you have successfully beaten our course you can visit our "Gotham City" between 8am-12pm. Gotham City will consist of finish line refreshments, the Game Truck, music entertainment, inflatable activities, visit with Arizona's "Superheros" and participate plenty of photo opportunities with you favorite Superhero.

Fees-All Ages*

$20 prior to April 18th
$25 on Event Day
*Age 7 and under require a registered parent to be with the child at all times. Some obstacles are not recommended for children under 5 years old.

Children in Strollers and Pets are welcome but may not participate on some of the obstacles.

Vendor Applications

Vendors are welcome to apply to become a part of the event. Applications will be reviewed by the Town of Gilbert staff for approval. Applicants will be notified of the status of their applications within 2 weeks.
