Welcome. The Town of Gilbert utilizes general funds, federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and HOME Investment Partnership funds (HOME) to provide public services, improve neighborhood conditions, provide housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals and families, and increase access to safe, decent, and sanitary housing. The goal of these programs and activities is to foster a sense of pride in the community and enrich the quality of life for Gilbert residents.

This site offers information for local and regional programs and assistance services. If you have specific questions, please contact our Community Development Specialist using the information on the bottom of this page.

Town of Gilbert FY 12-13 Funding Process Now Open

The Town of Gilbert is accepting funding applications from eligible non-profits to provide human services for the Town of Gilbert. Funding applications are due on Thursday, March 15, 2012 by 6:00 p.m. See the attached guidelines for additional submittal requirements.

Plans & Reports for Housing Programs

Federal Plans and Reports

In order to receive CDBG and HOME funds, the Town of Gilbert must prepare a five-year consolidated plan, annual action plans that outline intended use of federal HUD resources each year, and annual evaluation and performance reports of accomplishments utilizing federal funds.  All plans are developed in consultation with local organizations and individual residents through a public participation process.
