1. Beginning July 11, 2011, Gilbert will offer extended customer service hours for most Town services, of 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Engineering, Building, and Fire inspections as well as emergency services, refuse collection, recreation centers, and Gilbert Municipal Court will continue with their existing hours of operation. 2. For other than single-family residential projects, plans may be required to be prepared by an Arizona Registrant. If this work is done in a commercial building, an Arizona licensed contractor must do it.
3. You will need a building permit for a storage shed over 120 sq ft. This shed must not be for human occupancy, and all zoning setback requirements must be met.
4. Fences over three feet in height will require a permit.
