Youth Spring Ball Program
Batter Up!!! On-Line & Mail-In Registration begins January 6 Register at www.gilbertrecreation.com for on-line or pick up a registration form at any of our centers and the SE Regional Library, mail-in the form and fee. On-Line Registration is January 6-26 and Mail-In Registration is January 6-25.
Volunteer coaches needed: Are you looking for one of the most rewarding jobs around? If so, the Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department has the one for you! We are currently recruiting volunteer coaches for our upcoming Youth Spring Ball Program. Parents and friends are encouraged to learn ways in which they can contribute to a child's growth through participation in sports. Volunteering to be a coach not only gives you the opportunity to learn more about the sport itself, it also gives you the chance to get involved with your child and his or her friends.
Game Schedule Information
The six week season begins Monday, March 31 and ends Thursday, May 8 and are usually scheduled Monday-Thursdays at McQueen Park or Discovery Park depending on division. Weekday game times are at 6pm at all sites except McQueen Park. Weekday games played at McQueen Park will have either a 6 or 7:15pm start (does not include T-ball). The T-ball division plays a nine game season and all other divisions have a 12 game season. All divisions will typically have 2 games per week, any day Monday-Thursday.
All players in the Youth Spring Ball Program must participate in their division as of their age on March 31st, 2014.

2014 Hershey's Track and Field Meet
The Hershey National Track & Field Youth Program promotes physical fitness and encourages participation for the youth of America. The Town of Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department is proud to host a local Hershey's Track and Field Meet for boys and girls ages 7-14 years old, based on participants age as of December 31, 2014.
Cost $5 per event (Maximum 3 events)
