About Gilbert Community Center & Senior Center

Not your typical center. Aside from holding various recreation classes for all ages, this center is truly a gathering place for all people. Once you walk in the front door you will experience the home grown feel of a small town community. Here we service the families in the Heritage District with a safe place for children to come and enjoy recreation. For the Active Adult 55 and over, we host on-going affordable trips, card games, crafts, painting classes, exercise classes, dancing to live bands, movies, bingo and bunko. The Adult Program is overseen by Chandler Christian Community Center, and assisted by the Town of Gilbert.

User friendly equipment is great for all ages. Participants ages 12 and older may utilize the fitness room. (12-14 must be accompanied by and adult)

Class Options



Parent/Tot courses give toddlers an opportunity to grow and explore while learning new skills with their parents by their side. Parent Participation helps toddlers in their learning adventure.



These classes allow adults of all ages the opportunity to engage in a new activity or learn a new skill.


Early Childhood

Children ages 2-6 years are engaged in a fun, interactive learning experience while gaining independence and social skills.


Family Events & Activities

Fun for the whole family, these events provide the opportunity to get out and interact with one another and your community.



These classes give youths and teens the opportunity to explore and try out new activities and learn new skills.


Adaptive Recreation

These courses are designed to allow participants at every level of development and ability to enjoy fun, engaging, and educational experiences.



Adult basketball, softball and indoor volleyball are offered throughout the year.
