Interested in working as a Lifeguard for the Summer 2015 season?  Youth ages 15 and up are eligible to take our Fall Lifeguard Training class, scheduled mid-October this year at Greenfield Pool during fall break week.  Get a great head start on a summer job with the Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department.

Gilbert pools are now closed for the season.  Thank you for a great year!  Watch for some new programs next Spring 2015 at several facilities which will include youth swim and dive teams, and swimming lessons.

Gilbert's four public pools will open for the summer season in late May, 2015. Our Spring/Summer 2015 Splash Guide will be online as soon as we have our programs finalized in February/March 2015.  The Splash Guide is our aquatics catalog with detailed program information for the season. Swim Lesson information for Session 5 is now available online at www.GilbertRecreation.comSummer youth swim and dive teams finished up the summer season this month with swim championships.  The results are located clicking the link below for swim and dive teams.   

Public Swim

Gilbert Pools are open for public swim through August 2nd and are currently closed for the season.  Click on the link below to find the Gilbert pool near you with location and hours.

Gilbert Aquatics

The aquatics program offers a wide variety of cool activities that include swimming lessons, public swimming sessions, youth swim and dive teams, and more! Each aquatics facility has a waterslide or play feature, shade ramadas, a concession stand and/or vending machines, and diving boards for your enjoyment.

Monday-Friday: 1-6pm; 
Saturdays 11am-4pm;
Closed Sundays 
*Mesquite Pool closes at 4pm on all Thursdays in June due to swim meets and also on Wednesday July 2nd.


(Public swim schedule subject to change. Please call for weekly updates. Mesquite Pool will occasionally host special events that will alter the Public Swimming Schedule.)

Youth (17 and under) $1.00 Tadpoles class (2 1/2 to 3 years old) $44 per session

· Punch cards are valid at any of the four Town of Gilbert pools for admission and can be used by any family member and guests.

· Punch cards will be sold at all pools beginning May 24 during public swimming hours.
